Legal History:
Marilyn earned her Juris Doctor degree from the prestigious John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. Her first law office was opened in Marseilles, Illinois and offices were opened thereafter in Streator, Oak Park, Chicago, Blue Island, Homewood and today's current office in Ottawa.

History of Practice:
Marilyn has represented individuals all over the state of Illinois. She has a strong work ethic and drive for helping clients. Over the years, she has practiced in many counties including LaSalle, Bureau, Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Marshall, Peoria, Putnam, Rock Island and Will Counties.

Other pursuits of knowledge:
In her spare time, you might find Marilyn pursuing her love of the fine arts. She has performed in several orchestras, quartets and other musical groups playing piano, cello, oboe and harp. Currently, she plays violin and viola with the Illinois Valley Symphony Orchestra and the Illinois Valley String Quartet. She has also played piano since the age of five, and loves to learn other instruments. Most recently she is attempting to learn the drums!

What to expect:
Call ahead to set up an appointment. This enables Marilyn to have information at hand that may help you with your specific case. When you call to set your appointment, her Office Manager, Kathryn, will be very helpful and will schedule an appointment on the basis of your needs. Don't be surprised that Marilyn also personally answers many of her phone calls... she prefers that you be able to speak directly with her about your legal problems.

When you go to the office, you will be put at ease by the informal surroundings of her log cabin office. Legal proceedings can be intimidating, however Marilyn is there to help you through your legal troubles as easily and successfully as possible. She serves her clients with a determined presence and Marilyn strives to work for the best results possible.
